ew River Falls Lodge is an early American, six-room
Bed and Breakfast with private baths and four two-bedroom Bungalow style cottages.
Our spacious accommodations are located riverside on the New River.
This
riverside Bed and Breakfast and cottage rental property is uniquely located
in the heart of the 62,000-land acre New River Gorge National Park. Based on
the edge of the New River the Falls Lodge offers spectacular mountain and riverfront
views. Join us in 2006 for our first year of operation. Whether you
stay in a guest room or cottage you will awaken well rested. Cliffside and
Woodland cottages each offer three B&B rooms, and the Mountain Vista, River
View, Anglers Roost, and Paddlers Rest are two bedroom/two bath cottages. All
accommodations feature new furnishings, beddings, and mattresses.
New River Falls Lodge is as close to "Almost Heaven" as West
Virginia can be. Experience peace and tranquility as you escape your daily
rigors. Sit at the rivers edge and let your toes dangle in the water, enjoy
some cold lemonade, sunbathe, read your favorite book, or just enjoy the scenic
beauty. Or get into it and experience some of the best outdoor recreation anywhere
in the country.
Scenic views surround you from the moment you arrive. Nearby National Park observation decks offer guests excellent vistas and photo opportunities of the falls of the New River. The upper falls "Brooks" and the magnificent lower falls "Sandstone" are easily accessible via boardwalks. Sandstone Falls, the largest waterfall in the New River Gorge National Park spans the 1500 feet wide New River, dropping 10-25 vertical feet as the river plummets over the sandstone bluffs.
From the New River Falls Lodge guests have immediate access to swimming, boating, canoeing, bird watching, kayaking, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, ATV trails, and great mountain roads for scenic drives and motorcycle riding. Nearby state parks, ski area, and outfitters can provide many additional activities and services. Golfing, horseback riding, caving, whitewater rafting, float trips, rock climbing, lakes, boat and watercraft rental, snow skiing, trains, outdoor fairs, festivals, and drama theatre are just a sample of things to do.

Buildings are no smoking, smoking is permitted on the grounds. Pets are allowed in cottages, pet owner must call for pet policies prior to reservation. Children under 10 must be adult supervised at all times. Additional person $25.00 per night over 12 years age. Additional person $10.00 per night under 12 years of age. Cottage deposit equal to 50% of total reservation required to confirm reservation, refundable less $15.00 cancellation fee, if cancellation is received 2 weeks prior to reservation. If cancellation is received with less than 2 weeks to reservation date, the deposit is non refundable. Bed and breakfast room deposit equal to one night is required to confirm reservation, refundable less $15.00 cancellation fee, if cancellation is received 72 hours prior to reservation date. If cancellation is received with less than 72 hours to reservation date the deposit is non refundable. Check in after 6pm please call ahead to make arrangemnets. Senior and Veteran rates available.
