The Ponderosa Lodge offers comfortable country style lodging at family prices.
Each of our ten rental rooms has a private bath and individually controlled
heating and cooling. The entire building is non
smoking. All of the exciting
outdoor activities this area is noted for, including whitewater rafting, rock
climbing, horseback riding and hiking, are within easy driving distance. The
Lodge is also available for special events such as church and business retreats,
family reunions, weddings and anniversaries, and hunting or fishing expeditions.
Conveniently located on Route 60, the Midland Trail, The Ponderosa Lodge is
an easy 15 minute drive to the New River Bridge and Fayetteville, WV.
With 10 guest rooms, each with a private bath, The Ponderosa Lodge is the perfect place for family reunions, church and business retreats, and weddings. The Lodge can hold up to 36 people comfortably. Our 1,300 sq. ft. Great Room is ideal for gathering everybody together to visit. In addition, our 800 sq. ft. covered deck has ample seating for groups to meet outside when the weather is pleasant.
If you would like exclusive use of the third floor or of the
entire Lodge, we offer group rates. If your large group would like a get away
but doesn't wish to "eat out" every day, you might be interested in using our large kitchen
for an additional charge. Lunch and dinner meals can also be prepared by us
for your large group for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information

Ken is active in the local community as a member of the Fayette County Transition Team, a Board Member on the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member on the New River Convention and Visitors Bureau.
