he Alpine House, located in the town of Jackson, is just a short drive from the splendors of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and the National Elk Refuge. Century old timber beams frame this twenty-two room lodge. Rooms are individually decorated with private bath, most have a television, a balcony and a fireplace. The library, fireplaces, spa treatments, Finnish sauna, outdoor hot tub and inviting porches make this inn a traveler's favorite.

Your hosts Hans and Nancy Johnstone are both former Olympic athletes. Nancy is a six-year veteran of the US Biathlon Team and competed in the Olympic Games in Albertville, France in 1992. Hans was a member of the US Ski Team for five years and competed in the Nordic Combined event at the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada. He is an accomplished mountaineer and rock climber, and has pioneered many ski descents in the Tetons.

The Alpine House offers our winter guests a variety of ski packages ranging from a week's skiing at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to a 2-day winter ascent of the 13,770 foot Grand Teton.
